BidScript, a UK-based AI-native tender management platform, has raised $800,000 in its latest funding round, bringing total pre-seed investment to over $1 million.

The round features follow-on investment from NPIF II – PXN Equity Finance, managed by PXN Ventures as part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II, alongside new backing from SFC Capital.

The Problem BidScript Is Solving

Despite hundreds of billions of pounds in public and private sector contracts being awarded annually, most businesses still rely on manual processes, spreadsheets, and shared drives to manage bids — a workflow that is both inefficient and error-prone.

BidScript was built specifically to fix this. Founded by childhood friends Henry Brogan and Tyler McCarthy while still at university, the platform automates the end-to-end tender process:

  • Identifying relevant contract opportunities
  • Automating bid workflows
  • Improving submission quality and efficiency

The platform's initial focus spans the construction and engineering, IT, and education sectors — some of the most demanding tendering environments globally.

Early Traction

Customers across the UK, US, and Middle East have already reported bid win rate improvements of up to 50% after adopting the platform.

"General-purpose AI does not meet the standards required for high-stakes public and private sector tendering — it's a niche that demands deep expertise. BidScript embodies that exact principle."Henry Brogan, Co-Founder & CEO, BidScript

What's Next

The fresh capital will fund team expansion, accelerated product development, and broader geographic reach across UK and international markets.

BidScript's bet is clear: generic AI tools aren't good enough for the compliance-heavy, high-value world of contract tendering — and vertical-specific platforms with deep domain expertise will win.
